About Nicky — Founder of Fuerza Pilates

Nicky is the founder of Fuerza, a global high-performance Pilates brand with studios in Los Angeles and Miami, and a growing presence through workshops and trainings around the world. Known for her results-driven, strength-based approach, Nicky has been featured in The New York Times, The Pilates Journal, Balanced Body’s The Core, and other media for her work with both professional athletes and instructors. In 2025, she was a presenter and speaker at Balanced Body Pilates on Tour in Chicago, and in 2026 she presented and spoke at The Pilates Journal Expo for The Pilates Journal.

Born to an Argentinian family and raised in Miami, Nicky discovered Pilates as a grounding escape from her fast-paced career in the fashion industry, where she worked as a graphic designer. What began as a personal practice quickly became a calling. After completing her Balanced Body certification and gaining hands-on experience across multiple Los Angeles studios, she launched Fuerza in 2022 as both a studio and a movement philosophy.

Since 2018, Nicky has worked closely with athletes across the NFL, NBA, MLB, dance, and other high-performance disciplines—helping them improve strength, mobility, and recovery while minimizing long-term breakdown. Her tailored programming meets the demands of elite performers while honoring the individuality of every body she works with.

Beyond her private client work, Nicky mentors instructors and leads workshops and teacher trainings worldwide, focusing on cueing, movement quality, programming, and teaching confidence. She believes Pilates should be challenging, accessible, and transformative for every body, at every level.

At Fuerza, Nicky works with movers of all ages and backgrounds—from first-time Pilates students to professional athletes and seasoned instructors—through in-studio sessions in LA and Miami, virtual training, and global events.
