Nicky Lal is the founder and creator of Fuerza Pilates in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Miami, Nicky discovered Pilates while taking classes as her daily form of exercise during her time working as a Graphic Designer in the fast-fashion Industry. 

Nicky quickly learned of her love and passion for Pilates, and it did not take long for her to make a career change. Soon thereafter, Nicky began her training to become a Balanced Body certified Pilates Instructor and gained experience working in multiple Pilates studios in the LA area. 

Nicky's focus is to teach the core principles of Pilates while maintaining the philosophy that it should be accessible to everyBody.

The word Fuerza originates from the Spanish word meaning strength. Fuerza's founder, Nicky Lal, comes from an Argentinian family and was raised in Miami. Drawing on her Hispanic background, she named her studio "Fuerza" as an homage to her heritage and focus on building strength within her clients.

Fuerza is a Pilates studio located in Los Angeles, California, founded in 2022. The main focus is on building strength (Fuerza), flexibility, and mobility in each session through teaching the core fundamentals of Pilates. 

At Fuerza, we welcome clients of all ages, genders, and skill levels. Nicky has vast experience instructing people of all body types and experience - ranging from those taking their first Pilates session to professional athletes and Pilates instructors.
