The Fuerza Instructor Development Program is a 16-week (4-month), semester-based educational mentorship designed for Pilates instructors who want to continue developing their teaching beyond certification.

The Fuerza Instructor Development Program consists of three semesters designed to support instructors at different stages of their teaching careers.
Every instructor begins their Fuerza journey in the semester that best supports their experience, goals, and professional development. An admissions questionnaire helps us understand your background so we can recommend the best starting point for you.
Build your foundation.
Designed for instructors completing teacher training, newly certified instructors, or professionals transitioning into Pilates. This semester focuses on building a strong foundation in teaching, communication, programming, movement analysis, and confidence.
Refine your practice.
Designed for instructors actively teaching private sessions or group classes who want to strengthen programming, cueing, communication, clinical reasoning, and overall teaching effectiveness.
Lead the next generation.
Designed for experienced instructors, educators, mentors, and studio owners looking to expand leadership skills, strengthen mentorship abilities, refine advanced programming, and continue growing as movement professionals.
Semester Length: 16 Weeks
Program Commitment: 200 Hours
Program Format: Hybrid (Virtual + In-Person)
Location: Fuerza Miami + Virtual
Tuition: $6,000 per semester
Payment Plan: Four monthly payments of $1,500
Semester Size: Maximum 15 instructors
Areas of Study
Weekly virtual lectures provide the academic foundation of the semester, covering anatomy, biomechanics, movement analysis, programming, cueing, communication, business, and professional development.
Four in-person training weekends combine movement labs, equipment instruction, practical teaching, instructor feedback, case studies, and collaborative discussion.
*Students unable to attend in person may participate virtually.
Observe private sessions and group classes while learning how to assess movements, adapt exercises, communicate with clients, and make programming decisions in real time. Mentored Observation provides opportunities to ask questions, discuss programming choices, and better understand the clinical reasoning behind each session.
Weekly assignments on programming exercises, movement analysis, observation reflections, practical teaching, readings, and written coursework.
Receive ongoing mentorship through office hours, instructor feedback, group discussions, and individualized support throughout the semester.
Students complete written assignments, Mentored Observation requirements, practical teaching evaluations, and midterm and final assessments to monitor progress throughout the semester.
Students who successfully complete all attendance requirements, Mentored Observation hours, coursework, and assessments will receive a Certificate of Completion documenting 190 hours of professional development.
